The following design was presented as the final project to graduate as a Multimedia Designer at Universidad del Norte Santo Tomás de Aquino.
The goal was to create a brand that could work in many diferent settings to push us creatively and use our whole skillset to create something visually interesting that was more than just a logo design.
Skating is one of my hobbies and I wanted to create something unique that stood out from anything thats already on the market and so Wild Skates was born!
Wild Skates is a brand dedicated to designing, manufacturing and selling roller skates, wheels and accesories with style and a sense of aesthetic that only this brand has. Founded and based in Los Angeles, California, it brings out inspiration from the skating community and skating locations around the city as well as the beach and the passion for the sport.
COLOR PALETTE
The palette was carefully chosen to be distinctive and draw peoples attention to the different elements within the brand.

#COOL & YOUTHFULL
For the design system I always kept in mind the tone and audience I wanted the brand to reach. I had to focus on creating a brand that worked with what skaters are using and think to be cool.
The system had to work in a more professional setting within the institutional pieces but still mantain the spirit of the brand and be more laid back and cool in what was seen by the clients.

CREATING COMMUNITY
Skating is more than just a sport and Wild has always advocated for creating links with like-minded people, Wild is always present whenever they go skate, with merch, stickers and gear for skating, the brand is always there giving them this sense of familiarity and community.
Events, forums and groups are essencial in creating a community, it brings skaters together from different backgrounds and skillsets together and creates an awesome atmosphere of good vibes and cool people.
WILD, WILD AND MORE WILD
Being a part of the Wild community is a lifestyle, with posters and even a playlist to be there in every part of the journey.
The music, the skates, the stickers, the merch will always be there to make you feel like a boss while looking sooooo cool.
THE COOLEST PACKAGING
Wild Skates has the coolest community and the packaging has to match them!
3D modeled the box for colorful wheels they are launching in their new line, as well as a reel to showcase the 3D model!
